Summer Bishil, an American actress who is famous because of her portrayal as Margo Hanson in the Syfy fantasy series The Magicians. She gained acclaim due to her character on Towelhead as Jasira Marroun, an American-Lebanese girl aged 13 who's thrown into turmoil by the U.S. military's incursion into Iraq. The film was later selected as one of Variety's 10 Actors to Watch in 2007. The year 2009 was the time she was the powerful Taslima in the film Crossing Over. She was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead for the film. Alongside Lucky 7, she has been a part of Mooz Lum The Last Airbender Pop Star, Under the Silver Lake and starred in a number of TV guest parts.
